About the Owner.

SHINE Marketing and Communications and SHINE School Owner, Megan Peterson, is thrilled to bring her dream of launching SHINE School to life!
With 16 years of experience working in TV News and Marketing/Communications, she is passionate about sharing her expertise and knowledge with fellow school marketing professionals to help their schools grow, thrive, and SHINE.
Megan began her career as a TV reporter/anchor, where she earned a Regional Emmy for her news story “Helping Hand” in the Children’s category and an Emmy nomination for Multimedia Journalist in the Midwest.
Soon after, Megan made a career shift to the Marketing/Communications field where she worked for more than ten years in both public and private schools and at various children’s organizations before launching SHINE Marketing & Communications.
With a proven track record of helping independent and faith-based schools increase enrollment, tell their story, and SHINE their light, she is dedicated to educating and inspiring school marketing professionals through web-based marketing courses and best-in-class support, delivered through SHINE School!
